Letter from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology

This is a letter I received after I had already been admitted to MIT. They found out from the National Science Foundation that I had been awarded an NSF Fellowship, so they offered to supplement the Fellowship with even more money. Somewhat of a bidding war can arise between schools trying to lure NSF Fellowship winners. Definitely fun for the student!
